VWU Player Spotlight - Juliette Coffey

May 03, 2024 VWU Player Spotlight - Juliette Coffey

Juliette Coffey, a member of the Virginia Wesleyan University Marlins, recently brought home the school’s first Old Dominion Athletic Conference golf championship after a thrilling two-hole playoff.

The victory capped her impressive season of 2 wins, 3 top 3s, and top 10 finishes in all events she competed in this year. Juliette will be considered for one of the 6 available at-large bids in this year's D3 national championship.

Tom Hall, Director of Women’s & Men’s Golf at VWU, praised Juliette's effort and performances. Juliette is a tremendous golferShe a keen understanding of how to effectively manage a golf course. While she is not one to draw attention to herself, she deserves all of it for this amazing accomplishment."

Hall mentioned Foresight Sports technology as a contributor to her success. "Juliette was able to play golf courses when her academic schedule didn't allow her to come to practice. Having the Foresight Sports space available for her and the program gives them the opportunity to get statistical feedback regarding ball flight and a club's path.  These two pieces of information can help players to make necessary corrections."

Foresight Sports congratulates Juliette and the VWU Marlins, who practice at the Nyman Performance Center, an on-campus facility recently converted to golf simulators.
